China Datang Signs Deals With Global Firms at CIIE

China Datang Corporation Limited (China Datang)’s trade delegation signed cooperation agreements with seven international suppliers from Germany, Japan and South Korea as part of last week’s 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE).

At last week’s gathering in Shanghai, the International Trading Company and International Fuel Trading Company of China Datang signed significant deals with leading global firms, including Nippon Steel Trading (China) Co., Ltd., South Korea’s LX International Corp., and Siemens Energy AG. The agreements cover a wide range of products, including clean fuel, coal, photovoltaic POE particles, anti-icing coating for wind turbines and seamless steel pipes, with a total contract value of nearly $265 million (1.92 billion yuan).

China Datang has participated in all the CIIE gatherings to date, with resulting cumulative procurement estimated at more than $1.7 billion.

In line with its commitment to the Belt and Road Initiative, China Datang continues to strengthen collaboration with governments and energy enterprises worldwide. The new agreements, signed with industry giants in the energy and chemical trade sectors, highlight complementary strengths and promising prospects for future cooperation.
