CSSC Delivers World’s Largest Heavy-Lift Multipurpose Vessel

China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC) has successfully finished construction of the 62,000-ton heavy-lift multipurpose vessel Jin Fu.

The Jin Fu is the third among the series of twelve 62,000-ton heavy-lift multipurpose vessels, and also the world’s largest vessel by deadweight in this category. It measures 199.90 meters in length, 32.26 meters in width, and 19.30 meters in depth, with a design draft of 11.30 meters and a cruising speed of 14.4 knots. The vessel is classed by Lloyd’s Register. Its cargo hold features a large open-box structure with a maximum length of approximately 40 meters.

Equipped with two 150-ton cranes and two 80-ton cranes, the ship is highly versatile, capable of carrying large and heavy equipment, pulp cargo, and a wide range of bulk goods, as well as containers. With its advanced design and exceptional adaptability, it offers superior service to clients.
