On Wednesday, staff members from the State Grid Lai'an Power Supply Company conducted inspection services on the floating photovoltaic power generation project in Shiguan town, Lai'an county, Anhui province. They helped users identify safety hazards to ensure the stable operation of the photovoltaic equipment.
The floating photovoltaic power generation project, integrating a photovoltaic power generation system on the water surface and fishery devices underneath the water can realize the complementary development of electricity generation and fishery production.
"As the weather enters the summer season with frequent thunderstorms, it is important to regularly inspect the drainage pipes and power lines under the photovoltaic panels to prevent waterlogging and electrical leakage," said a staff member from the service team while carefully explaining photovoltaic precautions to the station personnel and conducting detailed inspections of the photovoltaic components, inverters and other equipment.
The total investment of the project is about 45 million yuan ($6.2 million), with a 25-year operating period. It is expected to produce approximately 12.5 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity annually, yielding an average annual profit of about 4.8 million yuan.
Following the nation's dual-carbon goals, the State Grid Lai'an Power Supply Company has strengthened follow-up visits, opened a green channel for users and is implementing one-stop services for clients.
By listening to customer opinions and suggestions on power supply services, the company can promptly learn the operating conditions of photovoltaic user equipment and provide services to meet the demands.
In recent years, the company has enhanced support measures and service mechanisms for photovoltaic users, strengthened daily inspections and maintenance, and advanced green development through practical actions, continuously optimizing the business environment of power supply and empowering rural vitalization.
In recent years, Lai'an county has been utilizing fish ponds, barren hillsides, and other areas to develop green and clean photovoltaic energy, embarking on a path of green development of both ecology and electricity. This has injected a new driving force into rural vitalization, brought new quality productive forces into industrial development and become a showcase of the benefits brought by the photovoltaic industry.
