The activities were sponsored by the science popularization and cultural exchange base of the Jakarta-Bandung EMU trains and the lectures were given by technical experts from CRRC Corporation Limited (CRRC).
More than 50 students were also invited to ride the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train to enjoy a real high-speed train experience while listening to the technical expert's lecture.
They were excited when seeing the screen on the train showing a real-time speed ranging from 0 to 350 kilometers per hour.
In addition to the lectures, CRRC also provided teaching supplies such as computers and sound equipment to the local schools. Models of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train were also given as gifts.
The science popularization and cultural exchange base of the Jakarta-Bandung EMU trains has now become a platform to introduce science knowledge to local public and a bridge for cultural exchange between the Chinese and Indonesian people.
