In his speech, Tan said that since the Belt and Road Initiative was proposed 10 years ago, central state-owned enterprises (SOEs) have made positive contributions to consolidating the foundation of global economic development, writing a chapter of global green development, and enhancing the level of global balanced development. Faced with a complex and diversified cultural environment and public opinion landscape, central SOEs should effectively shoulder the new cultural mission, thoroughly understand the significance of a brand strategy in accelerating the construction of world-class enterprises, speed up the enhancement of the effectiveness of central SOEs' international communication, and strive to build a more open, greener and more shared international image of enterprises, contributing to extending the global reach and appeal of Chinese civilization.
The summit announced the result of the 2023 Chinese enterprise international image building case collection, with nine out of the "Top 10 Outstanding Cases of 2023 Chinese Enterprise International Image Building" from central SOEs.
More than 400 representatives of well-known domestic enterprises, think tank experts and media journalists attended the event.
