Zhang extended a warm welcome to Faury. He said the important consensuses reached by President Xi Jinping and French President Emmanuel Macron in recent talks provided important guidelines for Chinese central state-owned enterprises (SOEs) to further strengthen cooperation with French enterprises. As a world leading aircraft manufacturing and R&D company, Airbus has established in-depth cooperation with a number of Chinese central SOEs and yielded good outcomes.
He added that Chinese central SOEs are willing to enhance cooperation with Airbus and other international companies in accordance with market-oriented, law-based, and international principles. He hopes that the two sides will improve cooperation mechanisms, expand collaboration in aviation industrial and supply chains, step up practical cooperation in aviation technology innovation, intelligent manufacturing, and green and low-carbon fuels, and strive to achieve mutually beneficial results and common development.
Faury spoke highly of the achievements of cooperation between Airbus and Chinese central SOEs in recent years, and introduced the company's vision to intensify such cooperation in the future.
He noted that the Chinese aviation market has huge potential, and Airbus has been serving this fast-growing market with diversified products and services for years. The company attaches great importance to its cooperation with Chinese central SOEs, he added, expecting that the two sides will maintain long-term cooperative relations and business contacts, expand cooperation in the fields of technological innovation and green aviation, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the aviation industry.
