Employees from China and Saudi Arabia read traditional Chinese literature at the Middle East R&D Center of China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group). The center is a part of a project to promote excellent Chinese books to the world and was launched in January 2021 in Saudi Arabia. More than 1,500 paper books and a large number of e-books in Chinese, English and Arabic can be found there. The books cover the fields of Chinese economy, literature, history, and arts and sciences, providing a platform for readers in Saudi Arabia to learn about Chinese civilization and to experience China-Saudi Arabia cultural exchange.
