Chinese central state-owned enterprises (SOEs) have been in full swing in guaranteeing anti-epidemic and everyday necessities in response to the resurgence of the COVID-19 epidemic.
China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec Corp.) is aiming to provide sufficient supply of its oil products while ensuring epidemic prevention and control. The company has promised to stabilize oil prices and offer a 24/7 service, and is promoting a non-contact charging, payment, refueling and invoicing application in support of these efforts.
Sinopec Corp.'s subsidiary in East China's Jiangsu Province wasted no time in preparing 100,000 disposable masks. It also prepared 2,400 bottles of antibacterial hand sanitizer and 2,400 bottles of disinfectant for Nanjing - a key epidemic prevention and control area during the latest resurgence.
More than 1,800 gas stations of the Sinopec Corp. in Central China's Hubei Province are also in 24/7 operation, ready for the refueling of anti-epidemic vehicles.
Other everyday necessities are also standby on the shelves of the gas stations' convenience stores in order to meet people's demands.
As for central China's Hunan Province, Sinopec Corp.'s local branch lost no time in transporting anti-epidemic and daily essential goods. Nearly 50 gas stations in Zhangjiajie are operating normally and more than 40 convenient stores are open 24/7 to support people's daily needs.
