Shanghai red culture resources and information platform Hongtu was launched on June 18 at the Memorial for the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China in Shanghai.

The platform covers 379 sites and memorial facilities and 147 municipal patriotic education bases related to Chinese revolutionary history and stories of the Communist Party of China.

Hundreds of red tourism routes, exhibitions, videos, lectures and courses related to revolutionary history can be found on the platform.

Users can also use Hongtu to search for the red tourism information, make reservations for venues, and learn about the revolutionary history and stories of the Party.

"With the help of advanced digital technology and the internet, we can enhance publicity of the birthplace of the CPC, turn the site into a classroom for its history, and turn Party heroes into teachers of Party history," said Pan Min, deputy minister of the publicity department of the CPC Shanghai Committee.

The platform can be accessed through Xuexi Qiangguo, a mobile app run by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and Suishenban, a one-stop local government affairs service app.
