CASIC Develops New Protection Suit to Support Pandemic Prevention, Control

China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation Limited (CASIC) recently developed a positive pressure protection suit based on electric airing technology that is expected to support prevention and control of COVID-19 during the post-pandemic period.

The protection suit is capable of repelling various kinds of pathogenic microorganisms and at the same time providing its users with fresh air and venting heat and steam, which improves wearer comfort.

Made of newly-developed material, the protection suit features a backpack style airing system and wrist control display modules that give users a panoramic view. It is expected to provide a safe and comfortable anti-pandemic working experience.

The respiratory physicians at Aerospace Center Hospital and medical workers at intensive care units have tried the protection suits and given it their thumbs-up.
