The interchange of the expressway to the Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport in Shandong province, the largest of its kind in that area, recently passed inspection and is ready for operation.
Contracted by China Railway 14th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, the project received the most investment and has the most cast-in-situ beams for a project of its kind in the province.
Upon completion, the interchange will play a significant role in development of the airport economic zones, industrial areas and demonstration zone for economic and trade cooperation with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in affected areas.
