Chinese central SOEs pay close attention to two sessions

As this year's Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened on Mar 3 and the National People's Congress (NPC) opened on Mar 5, China entered the two sessions period in this year.

Chinese central SOEs such as China National Nuclear Corporation, Aero Engine Corporation of China, China South Industries Group Co Ltd and Ansteel organized staff members to watch the two sessions through various media such as television and smart phones, and encouraged them to pay close attention to the new deployments in the latest government work report.

Facing new and old problems in future development, the company should focus on developing its core businesses and transform its development pattern from production-oriented to market-oriented.

A total of 14 NPC deputies and CPPCC National Committee members from Aviation Industry Corporation of China Ltd participated in this year's two sessions. Topics such as setting regulations for aviation industry promotion and accelerating the development of the industry were common concerns.

Qiu Li'na, an NPC deputy from China Telecom, says practical projects in the communication industry were mentioned in the Government Work Report and challenges were put forward. China Telecom will shoulder responsibilities to improve users' perceptions.

"It's my first time that I watch the two sessions when I'm at work and today will be a special day for me as I joined the company less than one year ago," said Cao Meng, a member of the Hang Jun 5001 crew.
