The fourth International Law Enforcement Cooperation Forum on the New Eurasian Continental Bridge Safety Corridor was held in Lianyungang,
Jiangsu Province, from Sept 12 to 13.
The forum was sponsored by the Ministry of Public Security and attended by representatives from 28 national law enforcement departments, 4 international organizations, related government departments, local state assets regulators, and 39 Chinese central SOEs as well as domestic and international think tanks.
Shen Ying, Vice Chairman of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), attended and addressed its opening ceremony.
SASAC will thoroughly implement guiding principles in the speech made by President Xi Jinping at a symposium marking the fifth anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), help Chinese central SOEs make greater efforts to promote project construction with high quality, deepen opening-up and cooperation and prevent risks, carry out projects involved in the BRI and set an example for related parties in further advancing the Belt and Road construction.
During the forum, SASAC held a symposium of some central SOEs to exchange ideas and suggestions on ensuring the safety of overseas Chinese enterprises. It also hosted a sub-forum featuring "safe development, sharing prosperity" with the Ministry of Public Security to discuss issues related to strengthening security measures, enhancing risk prevention capabilities, and improving international management of enterprises.
Xie Jun, Director of SASAC's Bureau of Planning and Development, made a speech at the sub-forum.
